Bringing you good wishes from snow-filled Utah. Are you staying nice and toasty under the blankets? Knitting lots of large afghans to keep you warm and busy while browsing the latest shows on tv? I have been trying to stay warm and keeping my hands busy. I have even tried my hand at crocheting recently, yes, I guess I don't have hobbies already, hahaha. Alright, truth, I am having a special relationship with crochet flowers. I can't seem to stop making them. I will go to the extent of knitting an entire headband, just to crochet a flower for it. I am that crazy!
Back to our little magazine, we need your help. In order to continue the publication of the magazine, we need one fundamental portion, a very important part actually. We need designs. We don't have very many and most of the time, we have the very same designers publishing for the magazine which is AWESOME, however, we would love to have more new designers entering the arena. We have played around with the idea of closing the magazine, however, there are so many of you out there who love it so much and we receive hundreds of emails asking us not to close it, that it is for you that we are going to try to keep it open. We cannot promise an issue every quarter (next one is scheduled in April), however, if we have enough designs, we will continue as close as possible to the schedule provided at the link below. Please take a look at our submissions, we even provide you with a template to follow to submit your pattern. Also, you can take a look at the current patterns and see how they are written to give you an idea, you can also email us and we can guide you and help you get started. Help us save Loom Knitters Circle! We can do it, if we all work together!
Our special issue for this winter is all on Baby Knits. We hope you find it adorable, as I found it, and that you are able to knit a little something for a special little bundle of joy.
Happy Looming my friends!
